Helgenberger Might Return For Season 12

Tuesday, November 2nd, 2010

As CSI Files previously reported, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’s leading lady Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) is planning to leave the series at the end of season 11. However, the actress admits that her departure is not set in stone. “You know what, anything’s possible,” Helgenberger told TVGuide.com. “But I wouldn’t consider a full season.”

Catherine’s love life might play a role in her decision to stick around for season 12—or perhaps the writers are hoping that’s the case. “It’s funny, I’ve said I want a love interest on the show since Season 2, and my last season I finally get one. There’s something going on there,” she said, laughing. “They’ve given me some more interesting things to do this season, so we’ll see where they’re going to take the character in the next few months. Like I said, anything’s possible.”
