Mendelsohn Sells Legal Drama To CBS

Last month, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation executive producer Carol Mendelsohn sold a new crime drama to CBS. The CSI showrunner sold another drama to the network this month. The legal drama is called The Rainmaker, and it centers around a high powered lawyer who becomes a widower and must balance his role as a state prosecutor with being a single parent. The project will be produced by CBS TV Studios. Mendelsohn will serve as executive producer with Julie Weitz. Jonathan Baruch and John Tomko will be co-executive producers, and Sharon Hoffman will work on the series as writer and supervising producer.
