The cyber bridges for CSI creator Anthony Zuiker’s second digi-novel, Dark Prophecy, feature original music written by CSI: New York composer Bill Brown. Fans can listen to music from the soundtrack on the MovieScore Media website. MovieScore Media offers two ways to purchase the soundtrack: the songs can be downloaded for $9.99, or fans can order a CD for $17.95. The Dark Prophecy soundtrack is also available for purchase on iTunes for $9.99, or individual songs can be purchased for $0.99 each.

CBS Purchases ‘Siringo’ Script From Callaway
Tuesday, October 12th, 2010CSI: New York co-executive producer Trey Callaway sold a one-hour crime drama script to CBS. The series is called Siringo, and it is based on real life cowboy and detective Charles Siringo. Siringo was an agent for the Pinkerton National Detective Agency during the late 1800s. Callaway will serve as executive producer for the series with Mace Neufeld.

Football Overrun Affects ‘Miami’ Ratings

Football overrun pushed the episode back a full hour for some viewers on Sunday, October 10. When the final ratings were counted for the night, Miami pulled in 9.48 million viewers and a 2.7 rating/9 share in the key 19-49 demographic prized by advertisers.

What Caused The ‘CSI’ Ratings To Fall?

Batts & Sinise Post Twitpics From The ‘New York’ Set
Monday, October 11th, 2010CSI: New York’s leading man Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) and set designer Will Batts shared several set pictures on Twitter. Batts posted a door with “squibs” attached to simulate bullet hits, and he also shared an image of a church that will appear in the upcoming ninth episode. Helgenberger Joins Primetime TV Crimefighters
Sunday, October 10th, 2010CSI: Crime Scene Investigation actress Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) is one of the panelists scheduled to attend the Primetime TV Crimefighters live webcast on Monday, November 1. The group will discuss the evolution of crime shows on television, and the actors will talk about their personal careers as well as the stories behind their TV programmes. The live webcast will take place on Emmys.TV and Emmys.com.
In addition to Helgenberger, the panel will include Criminal Minds actor Thomas Gibson, Matt Bomer (White Collar), Nathan Fillion (Castle), Angie Harmon (Rizzoli & Isles), Boris Kodjoe (Undercovers), Mary McCormack (In Plain Sight), Dylan McDermott (Dark Blue), Matt Passmore (The Glades), Tim Roth (Lie to Me) and Skeet Ulrich (Law & Order: Los Angeles). ‘New York’ Wins The Hour With Higher Ratings
Saturday, October 9th, 2010The latest episode of CSI: New York, “Damned If You Do”, took the top spot on Friday, October 8. It pulled in 9.87 million viewers, which was up from the ratings for the previous episode. The second hour of Dateline came second with 6.56 million viewers. A repeat of No Ordinary Family (3.04 million) was third for the hour, followed by The Good Guys (2.37 million) and Supernatural (2.28 million). In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, New York came out on top with a 1.9 rating/6 share at 9:00pm, followed by Dateline (1.7/6), Supernatural (1.0/3), Family (0.9/3) and Good Guys (0.8/3).
