Harper & Batts Share More ‘New York’ Set Pics

Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) posted another gruesome picture from the morgue of CSI: New York. Set designer Will Batts posted a picture of a balcony that will appear in an upcoming CSI: NY episode. Preview DVD Special Features For All 3 ‘CSI’ Series

CBS has launched a new website called The Art of TV on DVD, which offers previews of the special features available on the upcoming DVD box sets for 18 different series. The section for each member of the CSI franchise includes clips from the following featurettes:

  • CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: “Killer Tales: Season 10 of CSI” and “Lab Rats: the Saga Continues”

  • CSI: Miami: “Twist of Eight: Season in Review” and “Blast to the Past”

  • CSI: New York: “Seeing Stars” and “A Killer House”

The site also includes detailed descriptions of the special features available on each box set, the release date and a link to pre-order the DVDs.

Procter Spends Time ‘Sitting Down’ This Season

CSI Files previously reported that Emily Procter (Calleigh Duquesne) is expecting her first child with musician Paul Bryan, and the pregnancy will not be written into the upcoming ninth season of CSI: Miami. In order to cover up the actress’s baby bump, Procter is “spending a lot of time sitting down” while the show films.

Offscreen, Procter is thinking about the environment as she plans for the baby’s arrival. “[I'm] not really buying much for the baby,” the actress told Mother Nature Network. “I’m using primarily hand-me-downs and making a changing table out of a table I already had. I’m trying not to use as much, being really conscious of the amount of garbage I’m going to make.”

‘New York’ Is ‘A Whole New World’ For Ward

The addition of veteran actress Sela Ward to the cast of CSI: New York is something fresh for the actress—and hopefully a jolt of new life for the series.
