Sunday, June 6th, 2010The Los Angeles Times visited the Laguna Beach home CSI: Crime Scene Investigation showrunner Carol Mendelsohn shares with Andy Wolf, an attorney and former president of the Pacific Design Center. It took a year of planning and two-and-a-half years of work to turn the ramshackle building into a stunning retreat. “This is our getaway house,” Mendelsohn shared. “We can drive here in an hour, spend the night and feel like we’ve been to Hawaii for a week. We renew our energy here. This is a place that feeds the soul.”

SyFy Releases More ‘Stonehenge Apocalypse’ Details
Thursday, June 3rd, 2010CSI Files previously reported that Hill Harper (CSI: New York‘s Dr Sheldon Hawkes) would star in the upcoming SyFy original movie Stonehenge Apocalypse. The network has now released new information about the film:
The ancient sandstone pillars of Stonehenge suddenly come to life, shifting along the earth’s power grid and creating devastating natural disasters around the world. Is Stonehenge really an alien terraforming machine, originally used to create a fertile, life-sustaining planet? And is its accidental re-activation going to destroy the earth? It is up to brilliant and eccentric radio show host Misha Collins (Supernatural) to prevent this by stopping a crazed cult leader (Harper), eager for Armageddon.
Stonehenge Apocalypse premieres Saturday, June 12, at 9:00pm (ET/PT) on the SyFy network.
Vassey’s ‘CSI’ Exit Confirmed
Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010Yesterday, CSI Files reported that Liz Vassey (Wendy Simms) would not be back for the eleventh season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. According to TVGuide.com, a rep from CBS has confirmed Vassey’s exit. Meanwhile, several other CSI stars are in contract negotiations, and leading man Laurence Fishburne (Dr Ray Langston) has already signed on for another season with the show.
Harper Stars In ‘Stonehenge Apocalypse’
Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010CSI: New York actor Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) stars alongside Misha Collins (Supernatural) in Stonehenge Apocalypse, a film that will debut on the SyFy network on Saturday, June 12 at 9:00pm ET/PT. ‘MythBusters’ Take On ‘CSI’
Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010The MythBusters team of Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman appeared in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode “The Theory of Everything” during the show’s eighth season. Their scene featured the guys standing by as Nick Stokes (George Eads) sprayed a dummy with pepper spray and then shot it with a stun gun—causing it to burst into flames. Vassey Says Goodbye To ‘CSI’
Tuesday, June 1st, 2010Entertainment Weekly reports that Liz Vassey (Wendy Simms) won’t be returning to CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in the fall. CBS has not confirmed Vassey’s exit, but an insider told EW, “The show is going in a different creative direction in its 11th season.”
