The lions are the first animals to be relocated out of the country after Bolivia banned the use of animals in travelling circuses last year. They will be housed in a specially built habitat in a northern California sanctuary. Fox, who is an official ambassador for ADI, was present when the animals arrived in the country on Thursday, May 27. “It will be truly wonderful seeing them walk free in their new enclosure, to feel the grass beneath their feet for the first time ever,” Fox said. “What a way to start Memorial weekend.”
