Lt Dan Band Supports The Power Of Art

Gary Sinise (CSI: New York‘s Mac Taylor) and his Lt Dan Band will perform at the Hard Rock Cafe in Chicago, Illinois on May 7. The concert will benefit the United States Vietnam Arts Program (USVAP), which aims to provide experiences and opportunities for artists from the United States and Vietnam to share their cultures and express themselves. The organization also seeks to provide wounded American soldiers with “artistic tools” for solace and self-expression. USVAP was founded by Vietnam Veteran and Lt Dan Band guitarist Kimo Williams.

CBS Offers An Exclusive Look At The Next ‘CSI’

Check out an extended preview for the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode “Irradiator”, which will air Thursday, April 8 on CBS. The preview includes an exclusive look at a scene from the episode. (Spoilers in the embedded video after the jump!)

According to the preview, “Irradiator” will air at 10:00pm ET/PT instead of the usual 9:00pm. However, this has not been confirmed, so make sure to check your local listings.

CBS Content Available On The Apple iPad

Apple launches the iPad today, April 3. CBS is offering content for the new device, including clips of hit shows like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Two and a Half Men and NCIS. The network will also offer full episodes of Survivor to iPad users, and the full CBS library on iTunes will be available for purchase on the device.

“It was important for us to have content available for the iPad at launch, and it will be important to continue to develop new content as the device goes mainstream,” CBS Interactive President Neil Ashe said. “Doing so is consistent with CBS’s larger strategy to put our content on the best available screen, with the best available business model. We look forward to improving and expanding our offerings for the iPad in the months to come.”
