‘New York’ Barely Beats ‘SVU’ In Viewers, Ties Demo

The latest episode of CSI: New York, “Rest in Peace, Marina Garito”, was down in overall viewers from the previous episode with 10.62 million people tuning in. This marked the second time a fresh episode of New York went up against new timeslot competition Law & Order: SVU, which was second with 8.35 million viewers. Both series tied in the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers with a 2.5 rating/7 share. ABC was third for the hour with 4.03 million viewers and 1.4/4 for the penultimate episode of Ugly Betty.
