Harper Joins ‘Nightline’ Debate

The topic of the debate is “Why can’t a successful black woman find a man?” Harper, who is the author of The Conversation: How Black Men and Women Can Build Loving, Trusting Relationships, will discuss expectations and stereotypes about African-American men.
Harper will be joined by The View co-host Sherri Shepherd, Jacque Reid from VH1′s Let’s Talk About Pep and Jimi Izrael, author of The Denzel Principle. Nightline‘s Vicki Mabrey will co-moderate the debate with Steve Harvey, author of Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. The Face Off will take place at 7:00pm EDT on April 9 at the Porter Sanford Performing Arts Center in Decatur, Georgia.
