La Rue Returns To ‘All My Children’ This Week

CSI Files previously reported that CSI: Miami‘s Eva La Rue (Natalia Boa Vista) would be returning to her soap opera roots by appearing on All My Children for the upcoming two-part celebration in honor of the show’s 40th anniversary. The episodes will air this Monday and Tuesday, January 4 and 5, on ABC. Check your local listings.

‘Miami’ Makes The List Of Top Google Searches

Google recently released a list of the top searches of 2009. CSI: Miami, which is famous for Horatio Caine’s (David Caruso‘s) signature stance and sunglasses, came in at number eight in the “internet meme” section.

Sinise ‘Concerned And Helpful’ With Wounded Soldiers

Vascular surgeon Dr Vincent J Bertin spent 17 days at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany during November, where he volunteered to take a spot on the surgery rotation at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Bertin treated soldiers and Marines who had been injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. During his stint in Germany, the surgeon met CSI: New York‘s leading man Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) during the actor’s latest trip to show his support for American service members. “Lots of people (entertainers) come through the USO part, but he is one of the very few that come into the intensive care unit,” Bertin said. “He was very concerned and helpful with the injured soldiers.”
