CSI: New York‘s Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) revealed on Twitter that the cast is currently filming an episode written by costar Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer). The episode is called “Sanguine Love”. According to CSI Files sources, this is the fourteenth episode of the show’s sixth season, which is scheduled to air early next year.

Togo Arrested For Suspected Domestic Violence
Saturday, December 12th, 2009Jonathan Togo (CSI: Miami‘s Ryan Wolfe) was arrested late last night at his home in the Hollywood Hills. He was charged with felony domestic violence, and his girlfriend was allegedly involved in the incident. Togo was released at 10:30am this morning, December 12, on $50,000 bail.

Sinise Performs At Fort Hood
Saturday, December 12th, 2009CSI: New York‘s leading man Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) and his Lt Dan Band joined other celebrities in Fort Hood, Texas on Friday, December 11 to take part in a daylong event called “Community Strong”. There were performances and a carnival that was open to the public. “Community Strong” was planned as a way to thank the American soldiers for their service and to support the Fort Hood community in the aftermath of the shootings on November 5 that claimed 13 lives and wounded at least 30 more. “After this incident, I felt it was important to … show our support at Fort Hood,” Sinise said.

‘CSI’ Takes Top Honors This Week
Friday, December 11th, 2009The latest episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, “Appendicitement”, won the top spot on Thursday, December 10. The episode pulled in 17.11 million viewers and a 4.1 rating/11 share in the coveted 18-49 demographic. NBC’s combination of The Office (9.24 million, 4.4/12) and 30 Rock (7.54 million, 3.5/9) came in second, followed by Fringe (6.32 million, 2.3/6), a repeat of Grey’s Anatomy (4.87 million, 1.4/4) and a repeat of Supernatural (1.42 million, 0.7/2).

‘New York’ Takes The Top Spot Again
Thursday, December 10th, 2009The latest episode of CSI: New York, “Death House”, pulled in 12.99 million viewers and a 3.2 rating/9 share in the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers on Wednesday, November 9. This put it ahead of the competition, although the Barbara Walters Special: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009 (10.46 million) earned nearly the same score among adults 18-49 with 3.1/9. The Jay Leno Show was third with 4.53 million viewers and 1.3/4.
