The first weekly contest runs through tomorrow, November 8 at 11:59 pm PST. For this round, the prize is a copy of Deadly Intent. To be in the running, fans have to leave a comment on a participating community with a question they would like to ask a CSI writer. The winner will not only get a copy of the game, but he/she will also have his/her question answered by a writer.
The communities c_s_i, csi and csi_ny are running the contest. Fans who are eligible (please make sure you read the rules!) must leave a response on one of these posts to be in the running for the contest.

Cibrian Sues ‘Life & Style’ Magazine
Friday, November 6th, 2009CSI: Miami actor Eddie Cibrian (Jesse Cardoza) is planning to take legal action against Life & Style Magazine for a false story they printed alleging that Cibrian cheated on girlfriend LeAnn Rimes. “Unfortunately Life & Style Magazine has chosen to go out with a story filled with inaccuracies and deceitful lies, presumably to titillate sales, but clearly resulting in harm to Eddie Cibrian and others,” the actor’s representative said in a statement. “This is irresponsible and wreckless journalism. Eddie has met with his attorneys and will be filing a suit for libel and other actionable grounds shortly. It’s a shame that Life & Style resorted to a story of this nature and they will regretfully now have to face scrutiny of untruthful reporting in a court proceeding.”

‘CSI’ Wins Timeslot In Overall Viewers
Friday, November 6th, 2009The latest episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, “Death and the Maiden”, split leadership in the 9:00pm hour on Thursday, November 5. The episode was first in overall viewers with 15.14 million, beating Grey’s Anatomy (13.62 million), NBC’s combination of The Office (7.94 million) and 30 Rock (5.94 million), Fringe (4.95 million) and Supernatural (2.71 million). In the key 18-49 demographic, CSI was tied for second place with Grey’s coming out on top with a 5.0 rating/13 share. CSI had 3.4/9, which matches the average of Office (3.9/10) and Rock (2.9/7) over on NBC. Fringe (1.7/4) and Supernatural (1.2/3) rounded out the hour in the demo.

Sinise Narrates ‘WWII In HD’
Thursday, November 5th, 2009As CSI Files previously reported, CSI: New York leading man Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) serves as the narrator for the upcoming documentary series WWII in HD. The 10-part series will chronicle the story of 12 Americans who fought in World War II, each voiced by a well-known actor. WWII in HD will begin airing November 15 on the History Channel. The first hour will be screened at the Lehigh Valley Heritage Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania this Saturday, November 7.
