‘New York’ Comes Out On Top, But Ratings Down

The third episode of CSI: New York‘s sixth season, “LAT 40° 47′ N/Long 73° 58′W”, won the 10:00pm timeslot on Wednesday, October 7, but ratings were down from a week ago. “Lat/Long” pulled in 11.96 million viewers and a 2.9 rating/8 share in the important 18-49 demographic. ABC and NBC shared second place. The Jay Leno Show was second in overall viewers with 5.74 million, and Eastwick was third with 5.28 million. Among adults 18-49, Eastwick (1.8/5) came out ahead of Leno (1.7/5).

‘Miami’ Down But Still In The Top Spot

The third episode of CSI: Miami‘s eighth season, “Bolt Action”, was down week-to-week but still earned the top spot on Monday, October 5. The episode pulled in 12.96 million viewers and a 3.9 rating/10 share in the 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers. This put it ahead of timeslot competition Castle (11.64 million viewers, 3.0/ 7) and The Jay Leno Show (4.31 million, 1.4/ 4).

Ramsey Celebrates ‘Equality’s Pioneers’

On October 11, The 2009 Garden Party to benefit Gay & Lesbian Elder Housing will take place in Los Angeles, California. The event, which is open to the public, will feature celebrities including Wes Ramsey. Ramsey has a recurring role as Dave Benton on CSI: Miami.
