CSI: Crime Scene Investigation‘s latest episode, “Bloodsport”, came up short against World Series competition on Thursday, October 29. Game 2 had 17.09 million viewers in the 9:00pm hour, putting it ahead of CSI (14.94 million), Grey’s Anatomy (13.42 million), NBC’s combination of The Office (8.14 million) and 30 Rock (6.01 million), and Supernatural on the CW (2.88 million). In the key 18-49 demographic, CSI (3.4 rating/8 share) was fourth behind Game 2 (5.3/13), Grey’s (5.1/12) and the 3.6/9 average NBC earned for the combo of Office (4.2/10) and Rock (3.0/7).
